This photo follows some basic ideas of the Principles of Design in photography because it has a contrast between the pink and green in the photos. The dark green provides the dark filter while the colorful part of the flower is a lot more brighter.
This photo can be improved by putting emphasis on the focus of the photo and also balancing the photo symmetrically. The photo can also be balanced in symmetry so that the photo can be in a correct focus. |
This photo is photo of some different plants that were in front of a big hotel in Cabo San Lucas. This appealed to me as striking a linear perspective as an Element of Art. The photo also has a kind of linear symmetry as well because all these plants are in a line.
This photo can be improved by changing the lighting or area of taking the photo. If the photo was taken a little more turned to the right, the photo would show a lot more evidence to why I think this photo is a great linear perspective.

This is a photo I took at a beach when the sun was beginning to set. The photo I believe represents a depth and viewpoint in which the background can be seen from far away. The sun set the point for where the center of the photo was to be a center of viewpoint.
This photo still has its flaws because the photo is pretty dark and the sun is not bright enough to show through the photo. I believe if there was a rule of thirds present here, the photo would be well balanced in focus an color contrast would be more subtle.

This photo was taken in Mexico a pretty long time ago when my family went up to a famous mountain to hike it. During our hike, we found a sign that pointed to a mini waterfall and creek. We followed a crowd of people to an area where we found this stream. No one else really wanted to keep going up, so my family headed farther and we found this waterfall. I believe this photo supports the viewpoint of principles of design because the subject, the waterfall, is in the middle right now.
The flaw in this photo is that it is isn't supporting the rule of thirds. The photo can also be used by modifying the colors to support the contrast colors. The photo also could have been taken from lower to support the photo to act as a landscape. |
